Statement of Need/Program Overview
Treatment for age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is undergoing a significant paradigm shift with successful management of the wet form, and significant progress in understanding and treating the dry form is on the horizon. This activity will provide an update amongst clinicians in managing patients with wet AMD both in individualizing care for different patients who do not meet the criteria of clinical trials and in new developments related to safety of anti-VEGF agents.
